The province has numerous natural, historic and cultural sites including the beautiful natural wonders of Zhangjiajie, one of China’s sacred peaks in Nanyue Mountains and for those interested in politics Shaoshan, the birthplace of Chairman Mao ZeDong.
On the other hand, modern Hunan has her own reputation in Changsha, arguably, the entertainment capital of China. The city burst at the seams with international five-star hotels, thriving night-life, glitzy restaurants and multilevel shopping malls.
